Great Success of Christmas Fair

The Christmas Fair was a fantastic success, raising an amazing £636.13 for the Church. Thankyou to everyone who helped and also to those who attended. It was a great village event that had a lovely festive atmosphere.

WI Meeting

The January meeting of the WI will be held on 7th Jan 2.30pm and will hear Joanna Neave speak on ‘Life as a Hospital Matron’ All are welcome.

Red lion in the news

Our favourite local publicans Jamie Powell and Esme Mitchell of the Red Lion are in the news. They have had a new bar installed, with help from the locals. Maybe they helped by propping it up, one villager commented. He should know!!! Read the full article here.
