Christmas Fair

The Fair will take place on Saturday 10th December in St Denys’ Church at 3:00pm. There will be lots of Christmas stalls, from local produce to teas and mulled wine.

The workshop theme this year is a “Christmas Table Decoration” led by Rosemary Williams, who will be giving an inspiring demonstration followed by an opportunity to make your own for Christmas. The workshop will start earlier at 2:00pm. Early booking is advised with Jenny Rudge on 674405.

Church Dates changed

Dear Friends,

I am afraid that I have had to postpone the Annual Parish Church Meeting from April 12th till Thursday April 28th at 7.30 pm in Little Compton Church, because it has not been possible to prepare all the accounts in time for the earlier date. I hope this will not cause too much inconvenience.

Village Fete

Don’t forget it’s the Fete this saturday, remind all your friends and family about this summers bonanza. Fun and games for all ages.

Heres the details for those of you who want to get involved:

Little Compton Village Fete will be held on Saturday 19th June 12-5pm. The proceeds from the fete are divided between The village hall, The WI, The Church,and the first Responders Unit. Your help is needed to keep these village organisations going.You are invited to help with the following:

Items for the Tombola and produce stalls
Cakes
Good as new items for the White Elephant
An hour of your time to help on a stall

Churchyard Tidy

We have exciting plans to attract more visitors to the Church, we plan to create a peaceful and more colourful area for all to enjoy.
Chris Brown has kindly drawn up some plans and in preparation for the planting we are planning to tidy the churchyard on Sat 24th April at 10am. If you could help, please come along with your gardening tools.

Flower Festival

The Flower Festival planning is now ongoing for this major event to be held over the bank holiday weekend.
Sponsors are being invited to contribute to the cost of the flower arrangements being created by Moreton Flower club.

Great Success of Christmas Fair

The Christmas Fair was a fantastic success, raising an amazing £636.13 for the Church.
Thankyou to everyone who helped and also to those who attended.
It was a great village event that had a lovely festive atmosphere.

CHRISTMAS FAIR

St Deny’s Church Christmas Fair will be held in the Church on Saturday 12th Dec from 4pm.
Warm yourself up with some mulled wine and mince pies and get into the festive spirit.
Christmas trees, Holly and mistletoe for sale and lots of stalls to get your Christmas gifts.
All proceeds go towards the upkeep of our church.
