Are there any Jordans left in Little Compton? My great grandfather, William Jordan, left the village in the late 19th century to work on the railway in Birmingham. He came from a large family of agricultural labourers whom I can trace back to Jonathon Jordan who was born in the village in 1806.

I am researching the following surnames of Little Compton Mace and Rogers. My 3x great grand parents Eliza and Arthur Rogers, Eliza was a Mace before marrying Arthur daug of Charlotte & John Mace.
